We only collect what you type in yourself, and we have written this in plain language on purpose.

This policy explains what personal information Think Like a Customer Ja, Limited collects through thinklikeacustomerja.com, why we collect it, where it is kept and what you can ask us to do with it.

2What we collect, and when
We only collect information you type in yourself. There is no account to create and nothing is required to browse the site.
When you place an order
Your name, email address, phone number, delivery choice and delivery details, plus your organisation name, billing contact and purchase order reference if you provide them, and any notes you add.
When you use the contact form
Your name, email address and your message.
When you leave a review
Your rating and review text, and a name only if you choose to give one. You may leave a review without giving a name. We do not ask for your email address on a review.
When you take the SERVICE™ Mindset Self-Assessment
Whatever you enter on that form. The assessment is there to help you reflect; we are interested in patterns, not in judging individuals.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for card or bank account numbers on this website. Payment is by bank transfer, which happens at your own bank, not here. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
3Why we collect it
To prepare and send your order and your invoice; to arrange delivery or collection; to answer your question; to publish a review you chose to submit; and to keep proper records of what we have sold and to whom.
We may also email you about your own order. We do not add you to a marketing list because you bought something.
4Where your information is kept
Our website is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions pass through Netlify’s servers.
Orders, enquiries and reviews are stored in a Google Sheet in our own Google account, and the confirmation emails and invoices are sent from our own Gmail using Google Apps Script.
The SERVICE™ Mindset Self-Assessment and the Service Clarity Intake form use third-party form services, which have their own privacy policies.
These providers operate independently of us. Using them means your information is processed on their systems as well as ours.
5Video and embedded content
Video thumbnails on this site are loaded from YouTube. A video only begins loading from YouTube once you click play, at which point YouTube may set cookies and collect information according to its own policies.
6How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for our business and accounting records.
Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Published reviews stay on the site until you ask us to remove yours, or until we retire the product page.
7What you can ask us to do
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct something, ask us to delete your review, or ask us to delete your information where we are not required to keep it.
Email thinklikeacustomerja@gmail.com and tell us what you would like. We will respond and explain what we can and cannot do.
8Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
